GORDAN Contact U"><U><B>Contact Us</B></U></A></div> <bR> <bR> <bR> </td> <td valign="top" BGCOLOR="#FFFFFF" TEXT="#080000"> <div>   <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" ><B> IDOT UTILITY UPDATE</B></FONT></div> <div> (11 May 2001)  IDOT will be spending approximately $2.5 million per year in District 1 (Chicago area) for a special SUE (Subsurface Utility Engineering) consultant, to help locate utilities during the design stage, and coordinate utility efforts at relocating their lines.  The SUE consultant for District 1 is the TBE Group of Florida.  Additional SUE consultants will be retained for District 4 (Peoria area), and statewide.  The $2.5 million amount, in our opinion, is woefully inadequate, but it is better than nothing.   Whether utilities will cooperate is another question.</div> <bR> <div> <A HREF="index.htm" TARGET="_top" TITLE="HOME PAGE LAW OFFICE OF ELIAS M.
